I had a nice week-end and hope you did too! It was my brother Ashley's 22nd birthday and we had a family and friends lunch at my mum's house on Sunday. The weather just about held out and it only started raining at the end. We had a nice lunch and played table tennis outside and pool inside. It was also to celebrate early my 18th birthday as I am travelling on the actual day ( 22nd Sep.).

Ashley is going to Sydney, Australia on Wednesday for at least 3 months and he is going to travel and work with his friend Ben Squire. It was the last occasion that we could all be together as a family so we had his brithday cake in the shape of Ausralia for Ashley and a different cake for me. I reckon 17 was more important for me than 18 because you can drive at 17 whereas here when you are 18, you can drink and vote. Drinking has not been terribly important to me because I would much rather drive than drink alcohol and rely on someone else to drive me home! Sill all birthdays are fun and I am looking forward to mine.

I have just found out that there are a couple of video links at www.worldjuniorcarptournament.com where you can see me and my brother Chris at Waddington in New York State last month. I hope Andy Rickett who won the tournament is still fishing for carp and I know it's coming up to the best time to fish on the St Lawrence River. Wish I was there!

Again thanks for all the letters and presents that are still coming in! You're really kind and I do appreciate it. Only 7 weeks to the UK premiere in London on November 6th so everyone can see the new film after that date - I haven't seen it so I can't wait to see it! New York premiere is 12th November I think!
